Pioneer

In the game's Codex

  • Destroy two enemy Bastions to win the battle.
  • Bastions are the last line of defence.
  • A Bastion targets Giants if no other unit is present; when a Giant attacks a defending Giant within its range, it immediately targets the attacker.
  • Order a soldier charge [D] to open the Bastion's protective dome and expose its weak point, making it vulnerable to attacks and abilities.
  • A Bastion's health is split into segments: a damaged segment regenerates, but a segment fully depleted is lost for good.
  • Destroying an opponent's Bastion disrupts the flow of its soldiers and units and brings all its dead Giants back to life.
  • Once a Bastion is destroyed, the others gain extra health and allied units receive a damage bonus.

In the game's tutorial

In each player's base, the Arsenal, powerful Bastions stand in defence to protect their territory. The first team to destroy two enemy Bastions wins the decisive battle of Concordia.
